Analisis Frekuensi Denyut Jantung Istirahat Pelari dan Bukan Pelari di Kota Padang

Background. Running is increasingly popular in Indonesia as a recreational and competitive sport. Training volume per week known to be associated with the cardiorespiratory fitness of runners. A straightforward method assessing by measuring resting heart rate (RHR).
 Objective. This study aimed analyze RHR its runners, non-runners city Padang, West Sumatera.
 Methods. cross-sectional recruited 51 subjects purposive sampling (elite runners n= 16, n=15, n=20). (beat minute [bpm]) was measured using electrocardiography, while exercise perweek (km) obtained an electronic questionnaire (Google form). Data were analyzed Spearman correlation test, Mann-Whitney U One-way ANOVA/Kruskal-Wallis.
 Results. The results this indicated that elite lower than (55.0; 65.2; 73.4 bpm, respectively; p = 0.001). between training not statistically significant (Spearman r=-0.31; p=0.25), but r=-0.73; p=0.002).
